The Cultural Transformation Game invites groups to bring their openness, curiosity, and willingness to explore together, and can offer fascinating new insights and a strong sense of connection between players.

Over the past months, we’ve been playing this game regularly. Each one is completely different, enabling the players to share thoughts, ideas and feelings in a fun way that can also feel really deep. By tapping into very simple - and very ancient - ways of being together, the structure of the game gives an immediate experience of depth and even a sense of being part of creating a new culture as we play.

Listening and being listened to with care and compassion can enable us to see each other differently and allow new ideas and insights to emerge. The result is connecting, inspiring and, we think, gives us a taste of the world we are working towards.

Inspired by transformative and collaborative practices developed over decades, this game is designed to spark awareness, dialogue, and meaningful change. It invites us to explore ideas, patterns, and the stories we carry, both individually and collectively.

Playing the game can be light, energising, and full of laughter. Sometimes it becomes deeply reflective. Sometimes it reveals shadows or insights we didn’t realise were there. People often leave with a sense of real connection, and thoughts about their next small, wise steps towards the world of shared care we are longing for.

That’s why we’ve decided to make these sessions a regular practice.

How we play

Every session begins with a Cultural Element we choose to explore together. It could be ‘power’, ‘trust’, ‘decolonisation', ‘love’, ‘body’, ‘land’, ‘play’, ‘money’ or ‘freedom’, to name just a few of over 100 elements we have compiled. During three rounds of reflection and sharing, the game continuously shifts and evolves.

The game intentionally creates space for serendipity through “magic moments”, short interruptions to the flow, intended to help us focus on the present moment; into the body, intuition, and connection to something larger than ourselves. We also have moments of ‘shared wisdom’ with prompts designed to help us reflect on group process, focusing our attention on issues like power, privilege, facilitation tips, healing or shared care. These moments often shift the energy, bringing unexpected insights and new ways of seeing both ourselves and the world around us. No two games are alike, which is what makes the experience so fascinating - and fun.

Who is this for?

We’re opening the table to more people who are curious about transformation, collaboration, culture, community, and new ways of living into the futures we want to create together. You don’t need experience, or to “be good at games.” All you need is curiosity, respect for diversity and a willingness to participate.

If you’ve ever felt that:

  • change feels difficult,
  • conversations in groups stay too unstructured or superficial,
  • real connection is missing,
  • or there must be more creative ways to learn and grow together…
  • there is a collective field ready to give birth to a new human culture centered in love and care

…then you might find this game might surprise you. So we’re inviting you to join us.

Upcoming dates

  • • 16 July, 8:30 Chile / 12:30 UTC
  • • 28 July, 13:00 Chile / 17:00 UTC
  • More being announced as we go

Spots are limited for each session to keep the experience intimate and engaging. We suggest playing with between 6 to 8 for each circle. If we are 10 or more the group will break into 2 or 3 circles with one facilitator or ‘more experienced player’ holding the space. If there are less than 6 participants signed up, we will offer alternative dates.

If none of these dates works for you but you’d like to be informed of future events, please sign up here. You are also welcome to request a game for your team or group, we will try to match your time zone and language needs.

We are looking forward to playing with you!
